Inactivation of microorganisms
UV disinfection is highly effective in eliminating a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses and protozoa. UV light damages the DNA or RNA of these microorganisms, preventing their ability to reproduce and inactivating them. Our systems eliminate temperature-resistant bacteria and spores, such as Alicyclobacillus acidoterrestris and Pseudomona fluorescens.

In order to treat opaque liquids such as milk, a pasteurisation process is necessary, in which the product is subjected to high temperatures to prevent bacterial growth. This is very energy-intensive, as generating heat permanently requires a lot of resources. Our equipment reduces energy costs by 80% to 90%, thanks to the low power consumption of UV lamps and their outstanding efficiency in multiple environments.
